Description
This course introduces the basics of EPC (Electronic Product Code) and the use of RFID (Radio Frequency Identification. GS1 EPC standards enable globally-unique identification numbers to be used for RFID, with major benefits in the tracking and tracing of products, services and other items in supply chains. By the end of the course, you will be able to understand:
- how EPC/RFID can be used for the unique serialised identification of objects
- the use of RFID
- the benefits expected from the adoption of EPC/RFID
